Obituary of George Durling
Durling, George Wayne, 74 of Spurr Road, Round Hill passed away Nov. 27, 2018 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Bridgetown he was a son of the late Arnold and Mildred (Bent) Durling. George is survived by his special friend Elaine Langmead, son Darren (Tina) Durling; daughters: Tracey (Dave) MacMillan, Tammy (John) Joyce; grandchildren: Mason Durling, Melanie (Landon) Graham, Emily ( Kacy) Charbonneau, Jennifer (Sandy) Brown, Connor Brown and Kieran Brown and two great grandchildren Karley-Rose and Hollis as well as countless other family and friends and his canine sidekick Katie. He was predeceased by his brother Cecil, sister Marilyn Milner and brother-in-law Jerry Milner.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Bridgetown. No visitation by request. A Celebration of his Life will be held at the Round Hill Hall Saturday December 1, 2018 from 1-3 p.m. Donations in his memory may be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society, Nova Scotia Lung Association , Canadian Diabetes Association or to the local Humane Society.
