1939-2018
CORMIER, GEORGES 1939 … 2018 Georges Cormier, 78, of Bouctouche,
passed away peacefully at the Dr Georges L Dumont UHC, Moncton on
Tuesday January 23, 2018. Born in Bouctouche, he was the son of the
late Olivier and the late Hélène (Babineau)
Cormier.
He will be sadly missed by his special friend, Dianne LeBlanc of
Bouctouche, his two children; Nicole Cormier (Philippe LeBlanc) of
Bouctouche, Bernie Cormier (Laura) of Halifax, his two step-children;
Gisèle Dominique-Hope (Brian) of Riverview and Donald Dominique
(Jeanne) of Connecticut, and his eight grandchildren. He also leaves
to mourn his seven sisters; Emma Maidment of Ajax, ON, Aline Neville,
Clara Johnson (Jean-Guy), Emilie Allain (Léandre) all of
Bouctouche, Annette Lirette (Albénie) of Bouctouche Bay,
Cécile LeBlanc of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Alida Cormier of
Montreal and one brother Robert of Saint-John as well as several
nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by his common-law wife Rachelle Dominique, three
sisters, Marie, Yvonne, Dora and two brothers; Augustin and
Frank.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de
l’église, Bouctouche on Wednesday January 31, 2018 from 2
to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the
Saint-Jean Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche on Wednesday
January 31 at 7:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery in the
spring.
In Georges’s memory, donations may be made to the CHUDUMONT
Foundation.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
