George Wamsley
George Wamsley passed away peacefully from this life into the presence of his Lord and Savior at Circle Drive Special Care Home, Saskatoon just short of 96 years.
He was born in Eston, SK in 1922. Farming and the love of the land was his passion. In 1966, he married a widow with three daughters which was a beautiful union. George is predeceased by Ruby, his beloved wife of 42 years; his parents; his brother and wife; and a granddaughter.
He will be lovingly remembered by his stepdaughters – but we called him DAD – Diane Trithardt, Faye (Patrick) McLean and Connie Tetarenko, three grandchildren; two great grandsons; and extended family. The family would like to thank the staff of Circle Drive Special Care Home for the absolute wonderful care given to dad for the last ten years.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home (east on 8th St, first right past Briargate Rd.) In lieu of flowers, a donation to Circle Drive Special Care Home (3055 Preston Ave. S., Saskatoon, SK S7T 1C3) would be appreciated.
