George Reyburn Stewart, age 87, of Stratford passed away at the Stratford General Hospital, on Thursday, February 1, 2018. Born in Stratford, son of the late Thomas and Christine Stewart. Beloved husband of the late Verna Stewart (nee Kaufman). Loving father of Stephen Stewart of Burlington, Doug Stewart and wife Rose of Stratford and their children Russell, Andrew and his wife Marissa, and Scott, Jeffrey Stewart and wife Lori of Stratford and their children Gregory and Bradley, Cherilyn Stewart and husband Harold Salzberg of Wisconsin and their children Karl and Frank, Kathryn Stewart and husband Jeremy Guimond of Russell, Ontario and their daughter Rozlyn. Dear sister of Marian Dean (late Ian) of British Columbia. Also survived by his sister-in-law Esther Stewart of Oklahoma. Predeceased by his brother Campbell.
