Anderson, Gary:
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Grand River Hospital at the age of 53 after a brief battle with cancer.
Beloved son of Dorothy and the late Duncan Anderson.
Loving brother of Lorie West, David, Linda, Barb, Nancy Germann, Brenda (Paul Moroz) and Paula.
Will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews and their families.
Longtime employee of Expressway Volvo in Ayr. He will be missed by his many friends and fellow Scouters.
Gary’s family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Visitation will continue from 9:30 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Grace Lutheran Church, 136 Margaret Avenue, Kitchener, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., officiated by Rev. Rob Korsch. Interment at Williamsburg Cemetery. Reception to follow in the church hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Faith Lutheran Church Building Fund, Scouts Canada Foundation or Cystic Fibrosis Canada would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
