Garry Wayne Ollenberger
We are saddened by the passing of Garry Ollenberger on April 29, 2018. He was born in Gravelbourg SK. On May 21, 1940. He grew up on a farm near Woodrow, SK., joined the RCAF in 1961, and married in 1962. He was stationed in Cold Lake, AB., Trenton On., Tinker AFB in Oklahoma City OK., Moose Jaw, SK., and Winnipeg, MB., where he retired in 1988. In 1978, he served six months as peacekeeper in Damascus, Syria. He joined the The Corps of Commissioners where he worked until April 2017 when he again retired. He also played seniors slow pitch, which he enjoyed. He was predeceased by his mother and one brother. Left to mourn are his wife and father, his son, three brothers and all their families as well as many other family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba in Garry’s name.
