Obituary of Garnet Alexander
Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Saturday November 17, 2018 at the age of 81. Garnet was a welding and small engines teacher at Fleming College, and enjoyed longtime hobbies of horseshoes and bowling. Beloved husband and best friend for 57 years to Shirley Alexander (nee Davis); loving father of Terri (Troy) Foster, Lori Alexander and Brian Alexander (Jen). Fondly remembered by grandchildren Alexis, Thomas, Davis and Breanna, step-granddaughter Keirstin, and great-grandson Austin. Survived by brother Jack (Susi) and sister Lorraine. Predeceased by brother Jim (d. Jean) and parents Clifford and Opal. A Celebration of Life will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES- LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen Street, on Saturday November 24, 2018 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM.
