Obituary of Gaëtane Haché
HACHÉ, Gaëtane France – Suddenly at home, Gaëtane Haché died on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the age of 71. Loving mom of Lisa-Marie Kleinsmith & her husband Jeffery, Courtright and Casey D’Andrea & his wife Heather, Aurora. Cherished grammie of Kadin, Avery, Mikaela, Emma and Xavier. Dear sister of Florent (Lise) Haché, Constance (Andre) Simard, Berthin (Ghislaine) Haché, Louis Haché (Real Doyle), Claudiane Haché and Minouche Haché. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Gérard & Cecile Haché and her brother Conrad Haché. Gaëtane was a long time member of the Catholic Women’s League. She was a very giving person, who loved to volunteer for the Canadian Cancer Society and Vision Nursing Home. Many things brought great joy to her life, her children, grandchildren, butterflies and dancing. Strong in faith, she was a devout catholic. She will be missed but lovingly remembered by all whose lives’ she touched. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431. N. Christina St., Sarnia on Monday, December 17, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Mathew Sobierajski at St. Benedict’s Church on Tuesday, December 18th at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy and to honour Gaëtane’s years of volunteering and her strong faith, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 556 Christina St. N 2nd Flr, Sarnia, N7T 5W6 or to St. Benedict’s Church, 1011 Oak Ave, Sarnia, ON N7S 1J4.
