Frederick “Fred” Sterling Gilmore
August 29, 1954 – July 28, 2018
The passing of Fred Gilmore of Calgary, AB occurred on Saturday, July 28, 2018 in Calgary, AB. Born on August 29, 1954 in Alliston, ON, he was the son of the late A. W. Mike and Alma (Love) Gilmore. Fred enjoyed trucking, playing the drums, music, photography, hunting and fly fishing.
Fred is survived by his sister, Margaret Fox (Bruce) of Bermuda and brother, Eldred Gilmore of Fredericton, NB; nephews, Alex and Sam; aunts and uncle, Harold Love (Anna), Gwen Burns and Connie Gilmore.
There will be a Memorial Service at Greenwood Drive Baptist Church on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 2 pm with Rev. Gordon Cook officiating. Interment will take place in Mactaquac Baptist Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the New Brunswick Lung Association. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
