Frederick Dale Nichol
1942-2018
Frederick Dale Nichol of Riverview, passed away peacefully
with his family by his side on Friday, February 23, 2018 at the
Moncton Hospital. Born in Moncton, Fred was the son of the late Fred
R. and Josephine (Duffy) Nichol of Moncton and brother to the late
Douglas E. Nichol of Texas.
Fred was
the most loving husband to Elizabeth (Beth) Ann (Parker) for 50 years
and leaves three wonderful children, Nick (Lori) of NH, Tammy (Mike)
and Tracy (the late Carsten) of NB and two delightful grandsons Jacob
and Samuel.
He retired from Transport
Canada (1969 – 1996) and NAV CANADA (1996 – 1998) as CET (Certified
Electronic Technician). He was an active member of Parkside Baptist
Church in Moncton. Fred lived in hope of the resurrection of Christ
and his great love for all his family – wife Beth and his children,
spouses and grandchildren and so many dear friends. Fred was extremely
proud of all his family and loved them dearly. There was nothing he
couldn’t put his hands to. He was always ready to help a friend and
spent many hours volunteering his time at his church helping with
projects too countless to mention.
Visitation is a Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home,
214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview on Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 6:00pm
to 8:00pm.
The funeral service will
be held at Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Memorial Funeral
Chapel, on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 2:30 pm with Rev.
Mitch Whittington officiating.
Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in the spring.
Donations in Fred’s memory made to the
Parkside Baptist Church Memorial Fund or to a charity of the donor’s
choice would be appreciated by his family.
