Fred Orland Haley
Born May 24, 1932
Fred Orland Haley FCPA, FCMA
Fred Orland, passed away on September 22, 2018, age 86 years. Born in Martock, Hants County Nova Scotia, son of the late Fred Marriott Haley and Laura Evelyn Rhodenizer. Fred is survived by his wife of 58 years Marie K (MacDougall) Haley, his son David S. (Robin) and daughter Catherine A. Haley, and daughter in-law Jo-Ann (Barrett) Haley, sisters in-law Margaret Pearson and Brenda MacDougall, and brother in-law Earl MacDougall. Also, his pride and joy grandchildren Cameron (Kate), Rebecca, Tyree, Brianna and Matthew Haley, as well as great granddaughter Lillian Haley.
Fred was predeceased by his son CPO2 Richard Douglas and twin brother Murray Haley, his step sisters Madeline, Kathleen, Marguerite and step brothers Gordon, Stewart, and George. He is survived by his siblings Jennie Keating, Donna DeVenney, Eunice Dill (Joey), Glenna Newcombe and Robert (Karen).
Fred was a life member of Lions International and recipient of the Melvin Jones Award from the Bedford Lions Club. Fred worked at Nova Scotia Light and Power and the Nova Scotia Power Corporation. Fred spent many enjoyable hours in his workshop building furniture and carving wood.
Funeral service will be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Bedford Hwy. on Thursday September 27, 2018 at 11 A.M. A private internment will take place at Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor, NS. at a later date. No visitation by request.

charity of your choice.
