Obituary Overview
Frank Peter Letkeman
August 24, 1926-November 16, 2018
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our father Frank Letkeman on Friday, November 16. He was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Elvira, in 2013, brother Erwin and sisters Wilma and Mary. Lovingly remembered by his children Gary (Lynn), Leslie (Phil), Deborah (Dennis), Sandra (Glenn) and Tamara (Mike) and grandchildren Holly, Ian, Scott, Derek and Kelsey as well as sisters Anne, Louise and Rose and brother David.
Dad was born in Carman and grew up on a farm in Oak Lake during the Great Depression. He later moved to Winnipeg where he worked in construction, eventually starting his own successful company. Many of his employees became lifelong friends.
His passions in life included hunting, fishing, gardening and of course his family. Dad was a fantastic story teller and had a great sense of humour. He was outgoing and made friends wherever he went.
Many thanks to the staff and residents of Arlington Haus and Bethania PC for their friendship and caring for dad.
Funeral service will be held at First Mennonite Church on Thursday, November 22 at 11:00 a.m.. A private family internment will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. We love you, dad.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Frank Peter Letkeman 2018..
