WADE, Francis (Frank) – Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, September 13th, 2016, at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital in the presence of his family, Francis (Frank) Wade – Age 84 years.
Predeceased by his parents: Hubert and Annie Mae; brothers: Bill, Joe, and Ambrose; sisters: Marie, Theresa, and Veronica.
Leaving to mourn with fond memories his sisters: Bernadette Warland, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Catherine (Hal) Eckert-Maret and her children Elysia (Jason) Desai, and Andre (Tiffany) Eckert-Maret, Whitehorse, Yukon; special nieces, nephews and cousins; and extended family and friends.
Frank retired from the CN Marine and was an active member of the Conception Harbour community where he lived all his life until he resided at the Ruby Manor Personal Care Home 3 years ago.
A special thank-you to the doctors and nurses of 6 West, St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital.
At Frank’s request cremation has taken place.
Resting at Flaherty’s Memorial Funeral Home, 70 Conception Bay Highway, Conception Harbour, with visitation on Friday, September 16th from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place from St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, Conception Harbour, on Saturday, September 17th, 2016, at 10:30am. Inurnment to follow in St. Anne’s Cemetery, Conception Harbour.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank’s memory can be made to St. Anne’s Parish Memorial Fund. Please visit www.flahertysfuneralhome.ca to sign the memorial guest book or send a message of condolence.
