Frances Marion (Colpitts) White
1923-2018
Frances Marion (Colpitts) White, 94, of Forest Dale Home,
Riverside-Albert and formerly of Hopewell Hill passed away peacefully
on January 16th, 2018 at the home.
Frances was born in Colpitts Settlement on August
8th, 1923 the daughter of the late Vibert and Hilda (Power)
Colpitts. She was a housewife and her greatest
accomplishment was raising her family with her beloved husband
Herb. She loved them so much and was very proud of
them all. Frances was always content with her little house in Hopewell
Hill and loved her home. She was grateful for the simple things in
life and enjoyed gardening and her flowers as well as
knitting, crocheting, quilting and needlework. She loved to read ,
especially her Bible, and had a strong Christian
faith. When the time came she went to Forest Dale
Home, she never complained and always had a grin for all
those who went by in the nursing home. She will be
remembered for her sweet smile and her kind and caring ways.

She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Patricia Colpitts
of Weldon and Ruth Chartrand (Marcel) of Elgin; sons H. Allison White
of Bonavista, NFLD, William “Bill” White of Hopewell Hill;
her precious grandchildren , great grandchildren
and great great grandchild ; sisters
Gladys MacDonald of Riverview and Evelyn Danahy of Riverside-Albert;
step-brother, Robert Prosser (Betty) of Salisbury. She will
also be missed by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and step-mother, Mary; she was
predeceased by her husband, Herbert; son, Herman ; son-in-law, Wilfred
; daughter-in-law, Margaret ;a great grandson; an infant
brother; brother, Ernest and sisters, Annie, Jessie and
Viola.
She will be resting at the Albert County Funeral
Home with visitation on Friday evening from 7-9pm.
The funeral service will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on
Saturday, January 20th, 2018 at 2pm with Wayne Hutchison and Wayne van
den Dries officiating. Interment will be in the Hopewell
Cemetery, Hopewell Hill, NB at a later date.
Donations to the Hopewell Cemetery or to the charity of the
donor’s choice would be appreciated.
