It is with
great sadness that we accounted the passing of Florence Elaine
(Richardson) Miller 91, of Bridgewater, formerly of Allendale,
Shelburne Co, at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater on August
18, 2018. She was born in Pleasant Point, Shelburne Co, on October 28,
1926, the daughter of the late Gordon and Nellie (Decker) Richardson.
In her early life, she worked at CN Railway News Restaurant, where she
met her future husband Lloyd, who was employed as station agent at the
Lockeport CN Station. She was a member of Little Harbour United
Church, Shelburne Co, and attended Bridgewater United Church. She was
a member of the Bridgewater Senior Citizens Club. She is survived by
her husband of 69 years, Lloyd; daughters Gail Ringer (John Alliker)
and Barbara Cashin; grandson David Cashin and Granddaughter Laura
(Toven) Simonsen and great-grandsons Ryan, Jonathan and Michael Cashin
and great-granddaughter Mikka Simonsen. She is also survived by sister
Kathleen Tudor and brother Karl Richardson and many nieces and
Nephews. She was predeceased by her son Norman; brothers Albert and
Cecil and Arthur; sisters Brenda, Robert, Evelyn and Elizabeth.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will be held 2:00pm
Saturday August 25, 2018 in Little Harbour United Church, Rev. Kevin
Cox officiating. Burial in Little Harbour United Church Cemetery.
Family flowers only. Memorial Donations may be made to Little Harbour
United Church, Bridgewater United Church or the Charity of your
choice. Arrangements entrusted to R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville,
