Obituary of Fanny “Ruth” Weaver (nee Brown)
Passed away peacefully at Extendicare in Kingston on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at age 96. Beloved wife of the late Morley Weaver and loving mother of Nancy Landry (Lionel), Julia Karls (Heino), Starr Verhoeven (Wim), Leanne West (late Tom), Scott Weaver (Beverly) and Dan Weaver (Brenda). Sadly missed by her 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Daughter of the late Ernie and Fanny (nee Scott). Survived by her sisters, Lois Delaney (George), Rae Tolley (Ron) and Grayce Bowman (late Frank). Predeceased by her siblings, Clinton Dulmage, Fern Hele ( late Aubrey), Robert Brown (late Audrey) and Ruby Thompson (late Ken). As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at Bay Park Baptist Church, 775 Progress Ave, Kingston on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:30–10:45 a.m. Spring Interment at Glenwood Cemetery, Picton. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bay Park Baptist Church, to help support the many communities that she so deeply believed in. While her spirit is resting comfortably above, Ruth is in the care of Paul G. Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main Street, Odessa, Ontario.
