Evelyn Lockhart (Wallace)
Entered into rest peacefully at the Heartwood Long Term Care Home, Cornwall on Thursday, August 2, 2018. Evelyn (Wallace) Lockhart, at the age of 96 years. Wife of the late William (Bill) Lockhart and dear mother of Karen Lockhart (Omeo Chatterjee) and Cathy Mulcahy and son-in-law Don Brown. She was predeceased by her daughter Margie Lockhart, parents Alva and Ella Wallace, son-in-law Doug Heuer, and sisters Beulah Gordon, Pearl Ashby and Dorothy Ball. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Erin and Ryan Evoy (Karen), Jonathan Heuer, James, Rachael (Rob) and William Mulcahy as well as her great grandchildren Graham, Ronan and Jaxon.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland, on Tuesday, August 7th from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm when a celebration of Evelyn’s life will be held in the chapel at 1:30 pm. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Alzheimer Society or the Wall Street United Church Memorial Fund will be gratefully acknowledged.
