Evelyn was born in Maxwell on February 9, 1941 to Jack and Anne Seeley. She grew up in Dundalk and attended school there, first women athlete of the year. Always excelling at her sports. She found herself drawn to Brampton and became a Court Clerk. She met and married the love of her life, George, at the Anglican Church in Dundalk on April 24, 1965. Evelyn enjoyed being home and raising her three children. When the kids were older she found herself back in the work field as a budget secretary in the School Board. Retirement brought the joy of watching her grandchildren growing and playing sports. The cottage in Flesherton brought her much joy and so they made it their permanent home.
