1928-2018
Eva Clara Till of Perth-Andover, NB, formerly of Listerville, NB,
passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on November
16, 2018.
Eva was born in Listerville, NB, on May 2, 1928. She was the daughter
of the late Wendell and Mildred (Barker) Bishop. Eva leaves behind her
loving husband, Alton Till; her sons, Brian Till (Gale) of
Listerville, NB, Eric Till (Kathy) of Perth-Andover, NB, Michael Till
(Pam) of Listerville, NB; her grandchildren, Ernest Till, Patrick
Loose, Joe Till, Joel Till, Zach Till, Amy Till, and Kayla Till;
eleven great grandchildren; her sisters-in-law, Mae Bishop of Saint
John, NB, and Patricia Bishop of Woodstock, NB.
Eva was predeceased by her parents; her grandson, Craig Alton Till;
her sisters, Bona Tweedie, Alice DeMerchant, and Ruth Tompkins;
brothers, Roy, Albert, James, and Carl Bishop.
Eva graduated from Centerville High School and from Teacher’s College
in Fredericton, NB. She first taught in Oakland, NB, were she meet and
married Alton in 1950. After getting married, Alton and Eva moved to
Ontario for a few years before returning home in 1955. When they
returned to New Brunswick, they owned and operated a general store in
Four Falls, NB, prior to their retirement.
Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Monday from 12-2
pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 2 pm
from the funeral home. Father Stephen Harnish officiating. Interment
will be in St. James Anglican Cemetery in Centerville, NB, at a later
date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover.
