1941-2018
Eugene Richard, 77, of Rogersville, passed away peacefully, surrounded
by his family, at the Dr Georges-L-Dumont UHC on Thursday November 1,
2018. He was married to Thérèse (Gallant) Richard. Born
in Rogersville, he was the son of the late Arthur and the late
Georgina (Caissie) Richard.
Eugène was a gas bar attendant at Chez Raymond in Rogersville
for numerous years.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Thérèse, his five
children; Marie-Stella Kinnie (Dale), Rachelle Richard-Léger
(Ron) of Moncton, Ginette Richard Martin (Rick), Michelle Richard,
Gino (Jessica), all of Rogersville, his six grandchildren; Christian,
Cynthia, David, Alexandre, Olivia and Massinissa as well as one
great-granddaughter Alexanne. He also leaves to mourn his sisters;
Angeline Maillet (late Aurele), Janita Maillet (Yvon) both of
Bouctouche, his brothers; Gerald (Antoinette), Georges (Yvonne), both
of Rogersville as well as several nieces and nephews.
Eugene was predeceased by two sisters; Rita and Lucienne and one
brother, Mederic.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-François de Sales Roman
Catholic Church Slumber Room, Rogersville, on Saturday November 10,
2018 from 9 to 10:45 am, following, a funeral Mass will be celebrated
at the Church in Rogersville at 11:00 am with interment in the parish
cemetery.
In memory of Eugène, donations may be made to the family.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
