Elva Richard
1927-2018
SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB – Elva Richard, 90,
of Saint-Louis passed away peacefully at the Stella Maris de Kent
Hospital, Ste-Anne, on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. Born in Newcastle,
she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Arthémise
(LeBlanc) Hebert.
Elva leaves to mourn her loving husband, Emile P.
Richard of Saint-Louis; three daughters, Janine Robichaud (Rheal) of
Saint-Louis, Linda Robichaud (Blair) of St-Charles and Denise Savoie
(Vernon) of St-Charles; three sons, Paul (Anise) of Ste-Marie, Ronald
(Emerise) of Acadieville and Denis (Paulette) of Aldouane; 11
grandchildren and 10 great
grandchildren.
Elva will also be sadly missed by her four sisters,
Edith Robichaud (late Doris) of Massachusetts, Rita Richard (late
Edmond) of Saint-Louis, Lucie Daigle (Laurie) of Moncton and
Thérèse Daigle (Léo) of Saint-Louis;
three sisters-in-law, Yvette (late Elvrey), Laura (late Aurel), both
of Saint-John and Dina (late Edgar) of St-Ignace; as well as by many
nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Elva is predeceased by her three
brothers, Elvrey, Aurel and
Edgar.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s
Memorial Home, Saint-Louis on Friday from 7-9pm and Saturday from
9:00am until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be
celebrated on Saturday, January 13th, 2018 at 11:00am,
Saint-Louis-des-Français Roman Catholic Church,
Saint-Louis. If so desired, donations in Elva’s memory to
the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the
family.
