At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB. on Saturday, September 15, 2018, Elmer Douglas Richardson of St. Stephen, NB., husband of the late Joyce Elaine (Keene) Richardson. Born September 28, 1934 at St. George, NB., son of the late Hazen George and Margaret Rose (Parks) Richardson.
Survived by his children: Jeff Richardson (Sharon), Brian Richardson (Roxanne), Peter Richardson (Deanna) and Sandra McCaffrey (Dennis), six grandchildren: Joe (Trish), Jason (Tiffany), Jody (Edward) Megan (Josh), Brittney (Jonathan) and Lainie, ten great-grandchildren: Hayley, Sophie, Brooke, Brody, Lane, Lexi, Kayden, Esme, Hannah and Elliott, one brother, Vance Richardson, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, Elmer was pre-deceased by several brothers and sisters.
A graveside service will be held at the St. Stephen Rural Cemetery, St. Stephen, NB. on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 2 PM. No visitation will be held.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the NB Heart and Stroke Association, IWK Hospital or charity of one’s choice would be appreciated. On-line condolences for the family may be sent to www.mehanfuneralhome.ca.
