Obituary of Ellen O’Connor
O”CONNOR, Ellen Catherine “Cathy”
Peacefully entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital Garden St. Site on Saturday January 6th, 2017. Cathy (McCann) O’Connor of Spencerville and formerly of Algonquin aged 78 years. Beloved wife of Philip O’Connor. Loving mother of Paul (Mary), Ron (Kelly) and Terry Carr all of Calgary, John Carr (Marylou “Charley”) of Spencerville, Jo-Anne Dadey (Ken Klassen) of Irricana, AB, Mike (Joanne) and Dan Carr (Tracy) of Calgary and the late Rose Marie and Anne Carr. Cherished Gramma and great Gramma of many. Also predeceased by parents Ford and Ida (Allore) McCann, 16 siblings and her children’s father Joe Carr. Also sadly missed by Bev Carr, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family and friends will be received at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. E., Brockville on Thursday January 11th, 2018 from 10 a.m. until the Celebration of Cathy’s life to be held in the Chapel at 12 noon. Interment will follow at the Oakland Cemetery. In memory of Cathy donations to the North Augusta Education & Recreation Committee, P.O. Box 18, 8115 Mill St., North Augusta ON, K0G 1R0, would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
