Ellen Berlet Quickfall 1920 2017

Obituary for Ellen Berlet (Quickfall)
Berlet, Ellen Marguerite Berlet (Quickfall)
August 1st 1920 – December 31st 2017
Ellen was the last member of the family of Albert and Edith Quickfall and brothers and sisters Clark, Richard and Evelyn Quickfall, Pearl Simms and Eileen Dahms.
Remembered with love by daughter Margaret Anne (Peggy) Kraemer (Douglas). Grandchildren Katherine Long (James) and Gary Kraemer (Diane). Great-grandchildren Brennen and Kirsten Kraemer. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews.
Ellen was a 30 year employee of the Kitchener Tax Department. She was an active curling member at the Granite Club and a member of Maryhill Golf Course. Her last years were lived at the Westmount Long Term Care. Our family is thankful for the excellent care she received from her Westmount family as she slipped into the past. At the end of Ellen’s life we remember how much she loved the sunsets at Southampton and Florida and her dogs.
We have many precious memories of our Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Ellen’s life will take place in the spring.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kitchener Waterloo Humane Society would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home).
Arrangements entrusted to Henry Walser Funeral home (519-749-8467).
