Obituary of Elizabeth Tacij
At Bobier Villa, Dutton, on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, Elizabeth Tacij, of Rodney, passed away at the age of 88. Predeceased by her husband Eugene Tacij (2009). Beloved mother of Mary Ann Lupsor of Rodney, Katherine Deyle of Ridgetown, John Tacij of Rodney, Ginny Bowen (Carl) of Oshawa and Michael Tacij of Mt. Brydges. Cherished grandmother of Corabeth, Eric and Nick. Great-grandmother of Cole, Owen, Garrett and Calvin. Survived by siblings, Mike and Peter Scherbak. Predeceased by son-in-law, Walter Lupsor (1999), grandson, Earnie Lupsor (2000) and siblings, Metro (1998), Steve (2006) and John Scherbak (2013) and Anne Tosikoski (2015). Elizabeth was born on January 2, 1930 on the family farm in Swan Plain, Saskatchewan to Nick and Mary Scherbak. Elizabeth and Eugene settled in the Rodney area in 1966 where they grew tobacco for many years. Private Interment in Rodney Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to Bobier Villa Recreation.
