Obituary Overview
Remembering Liz
Liz Nobes
August 7, 1942 – December 10, 2018
It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Elizabeth Nobes passed away peacefully at the age of 76 years, born August 7, 1942, died December 10, 2018.
She is survived by her husband Gene of 71 years, brother Pierre Beaverho of Whati Northwest Territories, sister-in-law Judy Falls and brother-in-law Kevin Donaldson of Marmora, Ontario and many nieces and nephews in the Northwest Territories and Alberta.
Liz was predeceased by her father Bruno and mother Sophie, brothers William, Alphonse, Bruno, Joseph, Philip and Vital and sisters Mary Tingui, Marie Wedawin, Melanie Beaulieu, Hilairiel, Elizabeth, Madeline Nedlin and Rosa Beaverho.
Liz was an amazing woman who loved beadwork and making native clothing. She touched the hearts of everyone she met and will be missed by all of us forever.
She came to Edmonton with her sister Madeline when she was 9 years old, with T.B. and went into isolation at the Charles Camsell Hospital for fifteen years. A brave fighter for life in every sense of the word. Madeline returned to Edmonton after a short stay.
The family would like to thank all the staff at the Misericordia Hospital Intensive Care Unit for their kindness and thoughtfulness as Liz tried to fight her pneumonia, the staff at Westlawn Funeral Home for their assistance and The McKennan Funeral Home in Yellowknife. She will be interred in the Dene Village of Whati, Northwest Territories.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Elizabeth Nobes 2018..
