The death of Elizabeth (Betty) Thompson of Hamilton, ON. occurred at the Emmanuel House Palliative Services in Hamilton on October 6, 2018 at the age of 73. Born in Benjamin River, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Regina (Bertin) Gallen.
Betty is survived by her partner Clayton Mitchell; children Derrick (Melanie) of Benjamin River, Joel (Shannon) of Burlington, Ricky (Gulia) of Brampton, Tanya of Hamilton; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren as well as her siblings Leonard of Delhi,ON.,Emile of Dalhousie, Rosie of Dalhousie and Corinne of Benjamin. She was predeceased by her husband Lyman Thompson; brothers Ernest, Raymond, Everett, Lionel, Norman and sister Lena.
A graveside funeral service in Benjamin River is to be held at a later date.
