It is with broken hearts that we, the family of Elisabeth Baldwin, announce her passing on December 22, 2018.
Lis will live on in the hearts of her children, Chris (Nancy), Karin (Kelly) and Kathy (Brian); grandchildren, Miranda (Ryley), Aidan, Kenny, Liam and Erin; siblings, Einer, Lena and Solveig; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Lis was predeceased by her husband, Lorne; parents, Gotfred and Anna; and siblings, Verner, Gunner and Svend.
She was known for her cold hands to which she would say ‘cold hands, warm heart’ and that could not have described her better. Small but strong she loved to make everyone (even strangers) laugh with her funny ways. There will never be enough words to describe how special of a lady she truly was. It was an honor and privilege to know and love her.
A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Gibson as well as the nursing staff on Unit 29 at Sturgeon Community Hospital. Your love and support for us in this difficult time will never be forgotten.
