ZANOTTI, Elisa (nee Piasentin)
Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family, after a short illness, on November 24, 2018, at the age of 86. Reunited with her beloved husband Giuseppe (1974). Loving and devoted mother to Fr. Richard Zanotti, CS, Bruna (Claude) Pinard, Louis (Josephine) Zanotti and Ernest Zanotti. Cherished nonna to Christian, Joseph (Nicole), Alexandria (Mark), David and Patrick. Bisnonna to Greyson, William and Claire. Survived by her sibling, Sister Maria Elisa Piasentin and predeceased by 11 siblings. Elisa will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and very dear friend “like a sister” Lucia Costella. She was a faithful and devout member of St. Angela Merici Church and its choir, and the Caboto Club Women’s Auxiliary. She will be fondly remembered by the many children and their families at St. Angela Merici Daycare. Elisa was a woman of great faith, strength and courage. She will be forever remembered for her generous kindness and infectious smile. She was very proud of her family and their accomplishments in life. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel), 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234 on Thursday November 29, 2018 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish prayers at 7:30pm by her son Fr. Richard Zanotti. Funeral Service on Friday November 30, 2018 at 10:15 am from the funeral home then to St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Avenue) for Mass of Christian Burial at 11am., officiated by her son Fr. Richard Zanotti. Interment at St. Alphonsus Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to honour Elisa’s life may be made to St. Angela Merici Church or the Scalabrinian Missions.
