Lynds, Eleanor Ruth
It is great sadness that we announce the passing of Eleanor Lynds of Marion Bridge on June 30, 2018 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Pearl (Cameron) Swain of New Glasgow.
She is survived by her husband Kenneth of 54 years; brothers Stephen, New Glasgow; James, Lourdes; Richard, Westville; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Eleanor loved to travel and was an enthusiastic gardener and animal lover. Donation in her memory may be sent to the palliative care unit or the SPCA.
A graveside service will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be made at chantfuneralhome.ca. Arrangements are under the direction of Chant’s Funeral Home.
