Eileen Rita Walkeden (nee: Kilkenny), late of Weyburn, SK passed away April 7, 2018, at the age of 86 years.
Eileen was predeceased by her parents Edward and Catherine Kilkenny; her husband Wilfred John Walkeden; brothers: Jim, Len and Gerald Kilkenny; sisters: Marion Clement and Doris Kilkenny; brothers and sisters-in-law.
Eileen is survived by her son Gerald (Liz), daughter Brenda (Neil), son Kevin (LeAnna), son Glenn (Sharan), son Duane (Twila) son Scott (Cindy); her grandchildren: Jeffery, Kyle, Erin, Kristy, Jason, Karla, Megan, Kelsie, Courtney, Breanne, Hailey, Kaelynn and along with their spouses 18 great grandchildren; brother-in-law Les Walkeden; sisters-in-law: Dorothy Kilkenny and Evelyn Sim; as well as many numerous nieces and nephews.
Prayers for Eileen will be held Friday, April 20, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. from RD Family Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, SK. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weyburn, SK. Interment will be held at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Weyburn, SK. Luncheon and fellowship to follow at McKenna Hall, Weyburn, SK.
For family and friends so wishing, charitable donations in memory of Eileen may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, Suite 301 ~ 2550 12th Avenue, Regina, SK, S4H 3X1 or the ALS Society of Saskatchewan, 90 C Cavendish Street, Regina, SK, S4N 5G7 or a charity of the donor’s choice.
