Lovingly Remembered
Edwin George Royan passed away June 7, 2018 at the age of 79 years.
He is now in heaven and has joined his wife Elsie, the one whom he shared most of his life with.
He leaves behind his loving children Deb (Gary), Diane (Fred), Rob (Trish), Cheryl (Guy), Patty (Jean), Annette (Laurier), 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; also his brothers Carl and Bob (Ann), and sister Annamae (Dennis), brother in law Doug, sister in law Bertha, nephews and nieces; and also several close and very special friends who were extended family members to him.
Ed was also pre-deceased by his granddaughter Samantha, sister Gena and sister in law Dela.
His everday motto was always “take it as it comes” and “take it one day at a time”.
Ed’s greatest passions in life was his and Elsie’s lake lot; a place where he enjoyed fishing, teaching loved ones to waterski, birdwatching and socializing with many. His greatest companions in his later years were his babies Brutus and Tiny.
Memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Glenwood Funeral Home, 52356 Range Road 232, Sherwood Park, Alberta.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Edwin Royan to the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation.
