Obituary for Edward Keats
Surrounded by family, in his 70th year, Edward passed away February 10th, at James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander.
Edward was born to Adam and Lucy Keats of Hare Bay on Dec 29th, 1947. At the age of 16 years old, he moved to Ontario for work. On July 25th, 1970 Edward married the love of his life, Mable Keats of Dover and started their family. They raised two boys, Calvin & Garland. In 1990, he returned to Hare Bay and worked as a Park attendant. In 1997, they moved back to Ontario where Edward worked as a superintendent of an apartment building until he retired.
He is predeceased by his parents Adam & Lucy. Sisters Hannah, Lillian and Priscilla.
Leaving to mourn, are his loving wife Mable of 47 years and sons Calvin & Garland. Grandchildren Tyler, Dawson, Kassy & Mason. Brothers Allan (Dulcie) & Raymond of Ontario. Sisters Dulcie of Ontario, Millie (Calvin) and a large circle of nieces, nephews, family & friends.
Family was important to Edward. He was loved by everyone and will be sorely missed by family and friends.
