Obituary for
Edward Langille
It is with great sadness that the family of Edward Harold Langille, 87, of Martin’s River, announce his sudden passing at home.
Born in Martin’s River, he was a son of the late Harold and Rhea Langille.
Edward spent his working life as head of building maintenance with A. M. Smith Company for 45 years. In his spare time he loved rebuilding anything to do with Volkswagen vehicles, either beetles or re-fitting vans to campers. Over the years he made several air boats, a hobby he shared with his sons. He was very community minded, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone.
Edward is survived by his sons; Martin, Marin’s River, Harold (Joanna), Martin’s Point; brother, Wallace (Pauline), Martin’s River; and a niece, Christine Langille, Martin’s River.
Besides his parents, Edward was predeceased by his wife Anna and infant sister, Mabel.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy #3, Lunenburg. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Martin’s Anglican Church, Martin’s River. Rev. Michele Cockell officiating. Private family interment to follow in St. Martin’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Martin’s River.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Edward Harold
