Edward Fisher Turner
TURNER, Edward – Passed away peacefully at the PRHC on Saturday, December 23rd, 2017 in his 90th year. Dear companion of the late Jean nee Snelgrove. Beloved father of Ronald (Sadie), Marie Turner, James, Terry (Judy) and Daniel (Shelly). Cherished grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Betty Moore and the late Charles, Jack, Verna Myers and George. Brother-in-law of Elmer Snelgrove (Joan) and Margaret Turner. Ed will be fondly remembered by the late Rose Vance’s family. Uncle Ed will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and their extended families. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 4th, 2018 from 10 a.m. – 12 noon at the NISBETT FUNERAL HOME, 600 MONAGHAN ROAD S., 705-745-3211. A Memorial Service will take place at 12 noon in the Nisbett Chapel. In memory of Ed, donations to the Kinsmen Club of Peterborough would be appreciated.
