Obituary of Edna Moncrieff
MONCRIEFF, Edna (nee Casey) – Passed away peacefully, at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Saturday, October 20, 2018. Edna of Fowlers Corners, formerly of Gooderham, at 91 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Ron Moncrieff. She will be forever missed by her two children, Dale Moncrieff (Brenda), Linda Quackenbush (Dan), her grandchildren, Chris Quackenbush (Rachael) and Kaitlyn Moncrieff. Daughter of the late Percy & Elsie Casey. Edna is predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Ross Casey (surviving wife Ruth), Audrey McGee (Al), Ray Casey (surviving wife Lorraine), Mary Hill (Maurice). She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
A retired Dairy Farmer. Edna was a past member of the UCW at Lakevale Presbyterian Church, Fowlers Corners, and long-time member of Bethel United. She was an avid curler, and a leader at both the 4H Girls Club, and Women’s Institute in Mount Pleasant. She and Ron loved to attend all the area dances.
Please join the family at Bethel United Church (90 Bethel Road, Omemee) on Sunday October 28th from 11:30 am until 2 pm, for a celebration of Edna’s life.
