Passed away peacefully at Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland on Friday October 27 2018 in her 89th year. Beloved wife for over 68 years to the late Angus Thorndyke. Cherished mother of Linda Cormier (Paul), Doug ( Natasha ), Brenda Shaw ( Doug ), Fred (Arlene ). Loving grandmother of Richard, Tammy ( Sean ), Stephanie ( Matt ), Michael (Stephanie ), Gilad, Aviel, Raoul, Mark, Kim ( Adam ), and the late Tracy. Great-grandmother of Megan, Arianna, Danica, Kiera and Emmett. Survived by her sister Helen Giles. Many thanks to the nursing staff at Georgian Bay General Hospital and Staff at King’s Place Retirement Home. A special thanks to Liz Acs for her loving home care assistance. A private family gathering will be held. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
