Obituary for Duane Williams
Williams; Larry “Duane” – Peacefully with his loving family by his side at the Lennox & Addington County General Hospital on Monday, January 29, 2018 in his 83rd year. Duane will be deeply missed by his cherished wife Elaine (nee Cousins) of 61 1/2 years. Loving father of: Dawn Black (Tom) of Selby, Dwight Williams (Michele) of Selby, Kristina Billinger (Tom) of Pickering and Kimberly Freeburn (Greg) of Lakefield. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Jamie (Samantha), Matthew (Melissa), Katie, Emily, Olivia, and Peyton as well as his great-grandchildren Quinton, Levi, Lauryn and Bennett. Dear brother of Carol Currie (Tom) of Gananoque. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Duane is pre-deceased by his parents Loren and Maude as well as his granddaughter Marissa. Duane is a Dupont retiree, former Counsellor, and Reeve of Camden Township (34 yrs), Warden of Lennox & Addington (1982) and a member of the Lennox & Addington Stewardship Council. The family will receive friends at the Wartman Funeral Home – Napanee Chapel on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 1-4 p.m. and from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 11:00 am. Cremation and private family interment. Friends desiring may contribute by cheque to Riverside United Church in Yarker or to the Lennox & Addington County General Hospital Foundation.
