Obituary of Drucella Parsons
With heavy hearts we share the news of Drucella Elizabeth Parsons’ passing. She slipped away peacefully with loved ones at her bedside at the Admirals Coast Retirement Centre, Conception Bay South on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. Predeceased by parents: Thomas and Jessie Ellsworth; brother: Roland; sister: Audrey. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Katherine (Doug) Robertson, Moncton, NB; two sons: Keith (Carolann), Conception Bay South and Kevin (Diane), Kitchener, ON; special companion: Fred Percy, Conception Bay South; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers: Ralph (Shirley) Ellsworth, Carbonear and Ron (Wavey) Ellsworth, Englee; one sister: Lilly Pilgrim, St. Anthony; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt will be remembered for her unwavering love and kindness. We look forward to celebrating her gentle spirit and infectious laughter with others. Resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Friday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Saturday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, November 3 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Victoria. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Victoria. Our family will ensure that her love of flowers will be honoured so we ask that, in lieu of flowers, you consider donating to the Health Care Foundation, Suite 103, 71 Goldstone Street, St. John’s, NL, A1B 5C3. She would want to help the medical team, who took such good care of her, to be able to help others.
