Drew Petty of St. Albert Jun 7 1982 Oct 26 2018

Drew Petty, the loving son of Maureen and Tony Petty passed away suddenly, Friday October 26, 2018. Drew was a giving and caring brother to Dillon (Aliisa), Reid (Genna), and Harry (Megan). He had two wonderful nephews, Grayson and Raphael, and a niece, sweet little Rose.
Drew was born in St. Albert, Alberta on June 7, 1982. He graduated from St. Albert Catholic High School and continued on to earn his certification becoming a Pipefitter. He was a keen minded and efficient worker. Drew would do things once, and do them right. Patience and perseverance were two of his many defining traits. He was the handiest person to have in a crisis. His resourcefulness helped our family through many troubled times.
Drew moved to Canmore, Alberta in 2013. There he developed a love of the back country and the mountains. Hiking, fishing, and canoeing became his past time activities.
Drew had the capacity to see the good in all people. A sympathetic loving soul who stepped out of his way to bring comfort to others. His message to the world was to love each other. Family was the most important thing to him. A strong bond with his brothers kept them always in his heart if not by his side.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dogs With Wings Society, 11343 174 Street, Edmonton, AB, T5S 0B7.
