Pugh, 92, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital
on Thursday, September 13, 2018. Born in Burtts Corner, he was the son
of the late Stanley and Margaret (Brewer)
Pugh.
Dr. Pugh, a
Beaverbrook scholar, graduated from U.N.B. and Dalhousie Medical
School and specialized in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Well known and respected for his many years of practice at The Moncton
Hospital, Paul also liked to travel, downhill ski, golf and play
bridge and poker.
He will be
sadly missed by his wife of 72 years, Joyce (Jones) Pugh of Moncton;
children, Mike (Joanne) of Hillsborough, Brian (Carol) of Quispamsis,
Sharon (Peter) of Halifax, NS and Mark (Dale) of Moncton;
grandchildren, Jason, Jeffrey, Alix, Jordan, Logan, Ashley, Emily and
Wesley; seven great grandchildren; sister, Gayle (Alonzo Dunphy);
brothers Pat and Ritchie; sisters-in-law, Audrey, Ida and Marion;
brother-in-law Burpee Jones (Freda); many nieces and
nephews.
In addition
to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Chloe and brothers,
Cedric, John and Joe.
In honouring
Paul’s wishes, there will be no visitation hours or funeral
service.
Funeral
arrangements by Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton
(858-1995). In memory of Dr. Pugh, donations may be made to
the Friends of The Moncton Hospital or a charity of their choice.
