Dorothy Mae Clare (nee Hargreaves)
November 5,1927 – December 28, 2017
Dorothy’s daughters, Susan McLean and Janet Feldman, son-in-law Ed Feldman, sister Heather Overy, grandchildren and great grandchildren sadly announce her passing after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Throughout her illness she remained happy, loving and a joy to be with. We cherish special memories of the wonderful and fun filled family gatherings she hosted. Dorothy was predeceased by her loving husband Ronald Clare, parents Arthur and Florence Hargreaves, brothers Doug and Jack, son-in-law John and many members of the Clare family.
We wish to express our deepest gratitude for the compassionate and loving care extended to Mom by the amazing staff of Woodland Villa, Long Sault, ON. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged. A private celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home in Iroquois. Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com
