Stevens, Dorothy Cecilia
Born on November 22, 1926, Dorothy passed away on October 23, 2018. Beloved wife of the late James Arthur Stevens (1973). Dorothy will be greatly missed by her daughter and son-in-law Maureen and Pat Gallagher, son Greg Stevens and daughter-in-law Nancy Laliberte as well as by her beloved grandkids James, Jenna and Jessica. Dorothy will be remembered by her sister Mary Doyle in Miramichi, NB.
Dorothy’s career as a head nurse in both Emergency and ICU brought out her leadership and fellowship strengths which stayed with her throughout her well-lived life.
Ma was a feisty, independent and stubborn lady who loved her life and her friends at Gresham Place. Her great joy in recent years was knitting mitts, hats, bed socks and especially baby sweaters to give away to anyone who needed or wanted them. Private cremation arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home, (519) 749-8467. There will be a private family gathering at a later date.
