Obituary of Doris Schebel
Doris Eileen Schebel
February 21, 1923 – May 10, 2018
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Doris Schebel, our beloved mother and grandmother on May 10, 2018. She was predeceased by her first husband Heman Moore; second husband Mike Schebel: daughter Marlene O’Brien; son-in-law Gerald O’Brien; son Keith Moore; her parents Leonhard and Fanny Gegner; and her six siblings and their spouses. Left to mourn the loss of Doris are her daughters Janice Baker (Douglas) and Brenda Hautz (Daryl); daughter-in-law Shari Moore; grandchildren Christopher (Lisa), Karen, Brett, Kristian, and Taylor (Telle); great grandchildren Robert, Jacob, Hailey, Briece, and Aullie. Doris was a strong and independent woman, dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked diligently to provide a home where love, respect, and traditional values were emphasized. She will be fondly remembered for her integrity, commitment to family and friends. Forever present in our hearts, dreams, and our memories. Forever loved. A special thank you to Dr. Stephen Bester and Shirley for following along with Mother on her journey over the years, and more recently to the staff of 5E and 5F at the General Hospital, and Extendicare Parkside. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Doris may be made to a charitable organization of choice. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 815 Assiniboine Avenue East, Regina, SK with Pastor Amber Hoffman officiating.
