Doris Irene Doan Trigger March 1 1924 October 24 2018 (age 94)

TRIGGER – Doris Irene (nee Doan) on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 she joyfully and with dignity and grace left her tired body. She is deeply missed by her girls Margaret Gray (Alan), Carol Findlay (George), Brenda Trigger (Diane Gammon), and her 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. Doris was predeceased by her husband Rev. George Trigger, her daughter Helen Blackett, grandson Tom Blackett, sister Vernest (Dave Schyler) and brother Fred (Edna Doan). Doris was never happier than when she was with her family and friends. Countless times spent playing cards and games, sharing good jokes and enjoying food, leaves us all with many happy memories. Visitation will be held at the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570) on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Dorchester Union Cemetery at a later date. If desired, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Personal condolences to the family can be made at www.sjfh.ca
