It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Dordenia Osmond (nee Wells) announces her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville, NL on Monday, July 2nd, 2018 at the age of 80 years. Born in Rose Blanche, NL. Dordenia was the daughter of the late Jack and Alice Wells (nee Rose). She was also predeceased by her husband Wallace Osmond in 2016; children Geraldine, Robbie, Richard and Roxanne; grandson Justin and sister-in-law Geraldine.
She leaves to mourn with many precious memories her loving children Nancy (Ricky) King of Burnt Islands, NL, Rick (Alice) Osmond of Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, Darin (Paula) Osmond of Gander, NL, Derek (Liz) Osmond of Edmonton, AB, Tracy Osmond (Jason Todd) of Fort McMurray, AB; grandchildren Ricky Jr., Rebecca, Cody, Michael and Emma; great-grandchild Connor; brother John (Lucy) Porter of North Sydney, NS; sister-in-law Florence (Clyde) of Sydney, NS; brother-in-law Clifford (Jean) Osmond of Kippens, NL and her beloved friend Buddy plus a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends.
In keeping with Dordenia’s wishes cremation has taken place. A family service and interment of ashes to follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dordenia’s memory can be made to the Daffodil Place,70 Ropewalk Ln, St. John’s, NL A1E 5T2.
