OBITUARY
Dora Nikiforuk
May 15, 1931 – March 9, 2018
Dora passed away peacefully at the age of 86 surrounded by family.
She was born in LaGlace, Alberta. She spent 58 years raising her family in Lake Cowichan where she was an active member of the Elks O.O.R.P for 35 years.
After moving to Duncan she became a member of the Duncan Royal Canadian Legion for 10 years. She continued to enjoy playing crib at the Duncan Senior Centre.
Predeceased by her husband Harry Nikiforuk (Lake Cowichan, 2005) and her sisters Alfrieda Dickman (LaGlace, AB) and Linda Kermath (Guelph, ON).
She will be lovingly remembered by her children Allen (Joyce) Nikiforuk; Deb (Butch) Anderson all of Duncan, BC, Rick (Gail) Nikiforuk, Tofino, BC, Pat (Tim) Wavrecan, Red Deer, AB, 10 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, sisters Louise Dickman, Langley, BC, Elsie (John) Rempel, Kamloops, BC, Frieda (Ahti) Halonen, Red Deer, AB, and brother Frank (Marg) Dickman, Parksville, BC and numerous nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Dr Terlien, staff at CDH and all her friends and family for their wonderful care and compassion.
A family memorial will be held at a later date.
