It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dora Matilda Warren announce her passing at the Western Regional Memorial Hospital in Corner Brook, NL on Tuesday, March 13th, 2018 at the age of 81 years. Born in Port aux Basques, NL, Dora was the daughter of the late Wilson and Martha Warren (nee Osmond). She was also predeceased by her common-law husband Frederick Osmond and brother-in-law Earl Osmond.
She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Wilson (Wanda) Warren, grandchildren Darren Osmond, Chad Osmond, Robert Warren all of Port aux Basques, NL, Jason Warren of Gagetown, NB, sisters Nora (Corwin) Anderson, Betty (David) Osmond, Lavina Osmond (Eugene Short) all of Port aux Basques, NL; nieces and nephews Neil (Kelly) Strickland of Port aux Basques, NL, Pauline (Garry) Osmond of McDougalls, NL, Craig (Mary-Ann) Anderson of Edmonton, AB, Enfield (Margo) Osmond of Lloydminster, AB, Colin (Natashua) Osmond of Port aux Basques, NL, Collette (Lorne) Parsons, Wade (Bridget) Osmond all of Edmonton, AB. She also leaves behind seven (7) great-grandchildren and a special cat Steven plus a large circle of nieces, nephew and many friends.
In keeping with Dora’s wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation taking place on Thursday, March 22nd from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at East Haven Funeral Home Inc in Port aux Basques, NL where from the funeral service will be held on Friday, March 23rd at 2 pm at East Haven Funeral Home Inc. in Port aux Basques, NL officiated by Rev. Marlene Harvey with internment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill, TCH, NL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
