Obituary of Donna Sturgeon
Sturgeon, Donna
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, November 18, 2018 in her 66th year. She is survived by the love of her life and best friend, husband Oliver and her beloved children Scott and Sharon (Randy). Dear sister of Barb Spencer (Stewart), Tom Cudmore (Laurie), Debbie May (late Gary) and Sandy Kennedy. Sister-in-Law to Gord Sturgeon (Janice) and the late Don Sturgeon. Predeceased by her parents and in-laws. Deeply missed by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Donna thoroughly enjoyed the hobby of gardening. She also enjoyed watching the birds and small animals come to the feeders and bird baths. Donna and Oliver loved to take trips to antique stores, open air markets, fall fairs and Christmas Bazaars. Friends will be received at Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, Brantford, on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Interment at Oakhill Cemetery. Donations to the Stedman Community Hospice, Brantford General Hospital or the Juravinski Cancer Clinic would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Donna in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
