RAYMOND – Donna (neé Hachey)
A bright star in heaven’s sky Donna will shine forever more. On August 3rd, 2018, with family by her side Mrs. Donna Raymond passed away at the age of 63 after a long couragous health battle. Devoted wife of Jean. Loving mother of Michael and Lisa (Rodney). Dear sister of Sandra (John). She will be sadly missed by her 4 grandchildren; Brianna (Turner), Madison, Thaia & Asher, as well as her great-grandchild Emery and many inlaws, nieces & nephews. Predeceased by her parents Leo and Jean (Blanchard) Hachey.
Donna’s strength and positive outlook was an inspiration to all. She cherished time spent with her family and enjoyed fishing, volunteering for hockey, school activities and being a leader Brown Owl.
Words cannot express our gratitude to all staff at the Welland Dialysis centre, Woolcott wing and The Sister’s of Sacred Heart for their kindness and compassionate care Donna received and a special thank you to Donna’s Guardian Angel Dr. Soliman.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, 827 East Main Street, Welland on Saturday, August 11th, 2018 from 9 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to The Kidney Foundation of Canada will be appreciated by the family.
